Healthy Teenage Moms Foundation (HTMF) is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit international organization with a global office in California, USA, and its headquarters in Gaba, Kampala.

Our vision is to liberate the next generation from teenage pregnancy and empowering teens to pursue their dreams. We envision a world where all teenage mothers receive the support and resources they need to thrive. Healthy Teenage Moms Foundation is dedicated to empowering young people, especially young women to build a brighter tomorrow for

themselves and their children.

In a society where teenage motherhood often brings with it significant obstacles, our organization stands out, driven by the belief that all teenage mothers, even if they have messed up, deserve a chance at a brighter future.

Aware of the hardships teenage mothers often face, HTMF seeks to restore their dignity through education, health services, and empowerment.The following are the thematic areas of our programs: Maternal Health Services, Education, Prevention,

The Alarming Reality

In a world where statistics often seem impersonal, we must confront a disheartening truth. According to a June 2022 article in the National Library of Medicine, National Center for Biotechnical Information, teenage pregnancy is a global challenge, with approximately 16 million girls giving birth each year, mostly in low-income countries. Shockingly, Uganda stands at the forefront, with one of the highest teenage pregnancy rates in sub-Saharan Africa, accounting for 25% of these young lives altered by early motherhood.

Our goal is to empower teenage mothers with essential skills, fostering self-reliance and productivity within society.
